WHen you look for a restaurant on the North End it is very difficult to decide - there are so many to choose from. We stopped into a frame /art shop and asked the owner for a recommendation - someone who lives and works there and would know the best place in town, . We were sent to assaggio. An exceptionally good meal. We did not have reservations but were seated w/in 30 minutes. Service was exceptional and the food was even better. We can't wait to go back.
